Local Storage: Any settings or preferences you save within the extension are stored locally on your device via the chrome.storage API and never leave your browser.
2. Permissions & Why We Need Them
To provide an immersive atmospheric experience, Ambi may request the following permissions:
Storage: To remember your personalized settings and UI preferences across sessions.
Tabs / ActiveTab: To allow the extension to apply atmospheric overlays or UI enhancements to your current viewing area.
No Remote Communication: Ambi does not have "background fetch" or "webRequest" permissions intended for data exfiltration.
3. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties. Since we do not collect your data, there is no data to share.
4. Security
The security of your browsing experience is our priority. Ambi is built using modern manifest standards to ensure it operates within the secure sandbox provided by the Chrome browser.
